This week i worked with the grade 1/2's again, we where finishing off the dragons and making Australian Olympic athletes. Once all the dragon parts and eyes where stuck down they where allowed to glue some glitter onto the dragons which the kids all found very exciting.
Then once finished they where allowed to create an Australian Olympian using a body stencil as a guide they had to create some clothes to stick on there outline. Trying to use colours that represent Australia: green, gold (yellow), blue, white, red. To create an outfit of their choice for a sport of their choice.

Sounds like the kids are having a great time... but what are you doing? Are you doing class plans, are you organising materials, what are you doing which allows you to apply your skills and knowledge to? (see questions in unit guide). I'm enjoying reading your blog.
