The finished snowman!!!

Well finally here is my finished snow man, it took a very long to complete and what might seem like the simplest of steps sometimes proved the hardest, but in the end i am quite happy with the finished product. I have really enjoyed being back at uni and getting to see all of my classmates again. I'd also like to thank Stuart for being a really cool guy and teacher.

The end of my placement

So i have finished my industrial placement at Niddrie Primary School, working in the art room. Mainly working with the younger grades. I thoroughly enjoyed my placement working with art teacher Tracey Sawczenko.

I got a great hands on experience in to what being a Primary School art teacher is all about, Tracey was excellent to work with being friendly and and let me use my initiative when working with the children. Tracey thanked me for my time saying what a great help i was and that she thinks i would make an excellent teacher and that when i changed days for a couple of weeks the kids all missed me and kept asking where i was, which was a good sign that i was doing a good job and that they respected me.

Tracey also wrote me an excellent reference, i had a great time working with all the children and believe all though hard work being a teacher or in this case art room teacher would prove quite rewarding and also a fair bit of fun.

Completing the ladybirds

Yesterday i was working with the Prep's once again, this time we where finishing of the ladybirds that they had started last week. This week the Prep's needed to cut out all the pieces to their ladybug, then cutting the red piece in half as well. Then the kids needed to glue the head to the body and glue two goggle eyes on to the ladybird. Once this had been completed the kids needed to come to Tracey or myself so that we could use a Stanley knife to put a tiny hole through the top of the girds wings through the top of the back to put a split pin through so that the ladybirds wings would now move.

The kids then needed to get six little strips of black paper to create six springy legs, and glue them on to complete their ladybug.

Pumped for Summadayze

After a fairly long absence from any events i will make a very quiet return at Summadayze if all goes to plan, I'm quite excited and looking forward to be back out chilling with my friends in the sun and listening to some great music. Im also quite excited as my all time favourtie dj/producer (equal with the legendary Erick Morillo) will be playing, his name is David Morales. He is a pioneer of house music and was also a producer for some of musics biggest names.

Hopefully he pumps out some classics and even at the age of 47 im sure Morales will rip his top off and put the majority of Muzzas to shame.

PARTY BOY!!

Well here he is Mr. Chris Pontius aka Party Boy, from the Jackass and Wild Boyz series and movies. You might be finding it odd that the clips i have so far posted have been featuring men in skimpy costumes, if you are finding it strange then check out the clips, and im sure in no time you will be stripping down and getting down with Party boy

So in between working extremely hard trying to get the end of year work rush finished, i have had the very occasional chance to try and relax, which Wednesday night came at 10:30 when i grabbed my heat bag an lay in bed to watch the prank/hidden camera show "Balls of steel"

Well here is a clip from the show featuring comedian Eric 'big gay following' Page, i find it hilarious, but then again i love jackass and wildboyz (after this blog i think i will check out some 'Party boy' from jackass, i might even share it with you... pure gold)
