Week five

This week it was time for the children to paint, what they had made with the magic clay. The magic clay was now hard and ready to paint but it was still extremely light. The kids where to use a selection of bright fluro colours. The kids where very excited about getting to use the bright colours.

During this class i was assisting the teacher i whatever needed to be completed, so far it has been excellent working with Tracey. She has shown me exactly what it is like to be a an Art teacher and has not once made me do a mindless job for the sake of it or made me just sit out of the way and watch. It has been hands on and she has treated me like another staff member, and has been very kind and talkative though out which has been excellent sharing stories and ideasand encouraging to ask any questions that i may have. At firt i was looking at mainly being a class room teacher but now i think that being a full time art teacher would be an excellent and very fulfilling job.
